Freedom Ruck FAQs
-
A ruck is simply a walk or hike while carrying weight in a backpack. It originated as a military training exercise, but today people of all fitness levels participate in rucks for fitness, camaraderie, and personal challenge.
Don’t worry—you do not need military experience or special gear to participate. You can walk with a weighted backpack, a light backpack, or no weight at all.
